Native Garden and Medicine Wheel |
|
Come enjoy our native desert plant garden and Medicine Wheel. If you need a break from the hubbub of everyday life, our back garden area may provide the quiet sanctuary that you are looking for. The B&B sits on 3 acres overlooking the Rio Grande River Valley. There is a native cactus garden with benches dotted throughout the back yard, affording people the opportunity to get away from phones, computers etc, and listen to the natural sounds of the desert. |

Nestled amongst the Creosote bushes is a Medicine Wheel based upon ancient native principals. Guests are invited to use the Medicine Wheel for meditation and healing or just plain quiet time. If interested, guests can request individual or group teachings on the power of the Medicine Wheel and learn the processes used by ancient people around the world.
Native desert wildlife and birds fill the area in the back yard. Birds sighted from the patio are: Roadrunners; 3 types of Doves; Gamble Quail; Several varieties of Hummingbirds; Western Orioles; Finches; Nighthawks; Ravens; Threshers and many others that pass through on their migrational patterns. A variety of butterflies flitter through the gardens from February through November.
Although we are not far from city life, we provide a true desert experience, with wonderful sunrises and sunsets, and a variety of calming and peaceful environmental experiences. Casa de Sueños is also a wonderful location to hold group meetings and instructional sessions for wellness and spirituality issues of all walks. |
