CHECK IN

Check-In is between 3:30 pm and 7:00 pm.  Please call ahead for availability of earlier or later check-in times.  Because there is not a front desk like there is in a hotel, and the innkeepers are up early to prepare breakfast, we ask that you try to adhere to the established check in times as much as possible.

CHECK OUT

Check-Out is 11:00 am.  Arrangements must be made for later check-out times.  Guests staying longer than 30 minutes past the established check out time will be charged a late fee of $25 for each 30 minutes past check out time.

CHILDREN

Children 6 years and older are welcome.  The $10.00 charge per extra person also applies to each child.  Our facility is just not set up for toddlers and younger children.  There are many prickly cacti, and some desert critters in the gardens that can certainly be hazardous to unsuspecting little ones.

SMOKING

All rooms and areas within the building are non-smoking areas.  Smoking is permitted in all outdoor areas.  An extra cleaning fee of $375.00 will be charged for smoking in any of the rooms or interior areas of the house.

CANCELLATION CHARGES

There is no cancellation charge for cancellations made more than 30 days before the check-in date.

Cancellations made between 10 and 30 days before the check in date will be charged $15.00.

Cancellations made 10 days or less before the check in date will be the full amount of the reservation.  A gift certificate, good for 120 days, will be given for the full amount of the reservation of the cancelled reservation.  Use of the gift certificate is subject to availability.  We will make every effort to rent the room for the timeframe of your cancelled reservation to avoid cancellation fees.

PETS

Well mannered pets are allowed with prior permission in the Oso and Tortugas rooms.

Pets are not to be left unattended in the room or on the rom's private patio.  Pets are to be kept on a leash at all times.  Owners are expected to pick up after their pets have gone to the bathroom and plastic bags will be provided on request.  Pet owners are responsible for damage caused by pets and extra fees may be assessed for cleaning or if needed, for replacement of furnishings.  Pets are not permitted on the beds or furniture because of the sensitivity of other travellers to pet dander and hair.

Items left at the B&B

If you leave personal items (cell phone chargers, clothes, etc.) please contact us and we will gladly return them to you.  There will be a service charge of $25.00 plus the cost of postage.  This is due to our rural location and needing to make a special trip to the post office.

Marlene & Peanut are such warm and cordial hosts. The breakfasts are always very good. The walks you can take around the area are scenic. The patio is a joy to sit and relax with the lights of El Paso staring at you. I think a glass of wine is a must for patio relaxing.

Spectacular! We recommend this charming B&B to anyone and everyone. Rooms were wonderful, food was great (green chile omelet), Marlene and Peanut were great hosts. Sitting on the porch, watching the mountains light up at sunset - cannot be beat.

well all i can say is wow on arrival I found it hard to find so did the taxi driver but it was well worth it if i was ever coming back which i would if i was ever in el paso i would hire a car not a taxi but this b&b is away from everthing which could be classed as a double edged sword if you like being in the sticks it is great but if you like the town centre its not so good but you must hire a car the rooms are authentic mexican design with a large open space at the rear if you like walking in the desert

Decided to stay here, didnt want to stay in a hotel. George and Marlene are great host, and Peanut is just as nice. Great breakfast everyday, and coffee waiting outside our door every morning, nice touch. The room we had was very nice, clean and very spacious, felt like we were at home. Marlene gave us great tips on where to go for dinner and what winneries were haveing wine tastings. We stayed over for Valentines, went out for a nice tasting, came back and there was a gift of chocolates and a rose, very nice. We will be going back. Thank you Geroge and Marlene.

Casa de Suenos is a lovely four room bed and breakfast just on the outskirts of El Paso. It's easy to find and handy to major arteries (I10). However, it's far enough off the beaten path to be completely quiet at night and affords great views at night of the sky and the lights of El Paso.

We stayed in the Los Tortugas and Pararito rooms and earned a 10% discount for staying five nights. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, nicely appointed and had private baths and private outdoor sitting areas. Casa de Suenos also has a huge guest living room, guest dining room and kitchen area with microwave, refrigerator and free snacks. There's also beautifully maintained grounds with great views, comfortable seating and a gas grill.

Marlene looked after us for the week with superb breakfasts (southwest egg dishes, french toast), offered advice on local dining and attractions, area history and current issues, and the like. There are scores of restaurants within 15 minutes drive ranging from home style local eateries…

UN-INSPECTED KITCHEN

As of April 1, 2016 the New Mexico Dept of the Environment
will no longer do on-site kitchen inspections for
Casa de Sueños Country Inn

This is the result of new regulations in NM, exempting facilities with fewer than 6 bedrooms
from the annual on-site inspection requirement.
