Sometimes she and the two males team up on a lizzard hunt. The Roadrunners are serious about raising their young, and during nesting season they are not as active around the B & B as other times of the year.
From mid March until mid October a variety of hummingbirds stop off on their flight north or south. The most frequent are Black-chinned humming birds, and Rufus humming birds.
It is not uncommon to see Bunnies, quail and a variety of other birds eating from the same feeder, with some inter-species squabbles about who gets priority.
