“A gem in the desert”

The views of El Paso are stunning, the desert air is refreshing, and the courtyard is so relaxing with a running fouintain and rocking chairs to sit and sip your morning coffee in. As an El Paso native, Casa de Suenos held all of the magic of the desert that I have missed so much since moving away. It is well worth the drive and Marlene was a fabulous hostess!

“Rabbit friendly B&B;”

Reviewed on: 10/25/2015Overall Guest Rooms Service Value Cleanliness Dining 5 4 4 - 5 - We were traveling to visit with my daughter, a soldier at Fort Bliss, yet wanted a pet friendly room without dog/cat dander because of my allergies. Unlike a hotel, we were not charged exorbitant pet fees, nor had to put up with long walks from our car to our room. A shared refrigerator kept our fur babies veggies fresh, and we baked personal sized "no pudge brownies" in the microwave for our evening treat. Marlene's breakfasts, tailored to work with my vegetarian soldier's lifestyle, and lovely fruit plates kept us going all morning.

“Off the beaten touristy track experience”

Value Cleanliness Dining Location 5 5 5 5 5 5 - 5 We have been on a road trip for a week and this stop has been the more authentic one. Charm is everywhere in this place, excellent sleep and breakfast and the hostess is a gem. Best mexican food experience ever in the low key dinner nearby. Felt like we were locals.

Value Cleanliness Dining Location 5 5 5 5 5 5 - 5 Okay...this was just a charming little hacienda with the most charming hosts! Marlene is so friendly and accommodating making the hospitality top notch. Great breakfast, too! Marlene cooks to your needs.
The room was nicely appointed and comfy, not luxurious. But it wasn't billed at a luxury price so that was just fine. And the patio and yard are very lovely! Quiet and out of the way...just the way we like it!
And the views of the night sky and El Paso are breathtaking!
